About Rod "Kitt" Kittles
No Horse Play Personal Protection, LLC was founded in 2016 by Rod "Kitt" Kittles. Kitt was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. One of seven children, Kitt learned at an early age the importance of protecting the ones you love. He became interested in martial arts at the age of 10 and earned a Black Belt in karate at 16.
At 6'7" Kitt developed an interest in basketball and earned a full scholarship to Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida, and earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Kitt's high school basketball teammates called him "horse" because he "runs like a horse!"
As an elite basketball player, four years following graduation, he played professional basketball in Europe. In Holland and England, Kitt was inspired with the need for personal protection security, where he conducted and assisted with security at private parties and events.
He returned to the U.S. and continued to provide security protection services. In 2009, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was employed as a security officer on multiple military installations. In 2013, out of 168 officers, Kitt was recognized as Officer of the Year. Twice he was Officer of the Month.
From 2013 through 2016, he also worked part time for another security company named Solid. No Horse Play Personal Protection LLC was founded on experience, dedication, and trust. We pride ourselves on making sure you and your loved ones always feel safe.
